SHERIDAN, IN — Sheridan Athletics has officially released its full Varsity Football schedule for the upcoming 2026 season! The Sheridan community and Blackhawks fans have an exciting home slate to look forward to. The Blackhawks kick off action with a scrimmage on the road at Crawfordsville on Friday, August 14 at 7:00 PM, before officially opening up the regular season under the Friday night lights at home versus 3A Maconaquah. 2026 Schedule Breakdown Aug. 14 (7:00 PM) – @ Crawfordsville (Scrimmage) Aug. 21 (7:00 PM) – vs. Maconaquah (Home Opener) Aug. 28 (7:00 PM) – @ Alexandria Sept. 4 (7:00 PM) – vs. Tri-Central (Rec League Night) Sept. 11 (7:00 PM) – @ Clinton Central Sept. 18 (7:00 PM) – @ Clinton Prairie Sept. 25 (7:00 PM)** – vs. Taylor (Homecoming) Oct. 2 (7:00 PM) – @ Delphi Oct. 9 (7:00 PM) – vs. Eastern (Senior Night) Oct. 16 (7:00 PM) – @ Carroll (Flora) Season Highlights & Theme Nights Home Opener (Aug. 21): The Blackhawks open the regular season at home against Maconaquah. The Braves finished the 2025 campaign 8-2. Rec League Night (Sept. 4): Sheridan hosts Tri-Central in an exciting night honoring young local athletes. Homecoming (Sept. 25): The Blackhawks return home to battle Taylor in one of the biggest high school football traditions of the fall. Senior Night (Oct. 9): Sheridan will honor its graduating senior players and student personnel prior to kickoff against Eastern.
